Meredith Adams Ross
Hickory Tree Consignment is owned by Meredith Adams Ross, a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Minor in Interior Design. After 5 years in Real Estate with Coldwell Banker, Meredith saw the need for a furniture consignment store in the Hickory/Unifour area. A desire to make use of her creative giftings in Interior Design led her to make the move and re-open a once viable consignment store with the potential to be "buzzing" once again. Meredith grew to love Hickory as she made friends and networked throughout the community from 2003-10. "Now, I am able to work with many of those people in the community to help grow and develop a new business venture," she says as she looks out the window of her new store watching traffic pass by. "Hopefully the excited faces who come to shop and sell their treasures here will enjoy this store as much as they did in the past."
